Essential Qualification:

Scientific Assistant	B.Sc (Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Physics/ Electronics Inst.)
Junior Assistant	Graduation (Any discipline)

 

Age Limit 

 

• Scientific Assistant: 21-40 years 

• Junior Assistant: 21-40 years

* As on 01/01/2021. Age limit relaxation for reserved category candidates as per Government of India/Assam rules.

Mode of Selection

 

Selection Process, Exam pattern and Syllabus The selection process of Scientific Asst & Jr Asst at Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam will comprise of Written Test Skill Test.

Pay Scale

Post	Pay Scale
Scientific Asst	Rs.14,000 – 60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/- per month.
Jr Asst	Rs.14,000 – 60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- per month.
